The Video Production Workshop explored the format of Digital Storytelling. Several examples were shown from The Center for Digital Storytelling, a non-profit that does workshops on a national basis to promote the form, and a site on the Educational Uses of Digital Storytelling, by Bernard Robin, Associate Professor of Instructional Technology at The University of Houston. In one day, participants created their own 3-5 minute digital story using iMovie, Garageband, and other multimedia software and equipment, and shared it with their peers. |
