I Forgot My Password!

Your original password is the password ITS uses to establish an account for you. You need to change this password the first time you log in to any ITS system. Remember to keep your original password safe until you are able to change it. You need this ITS-assigned password the first time you access your account to add a service or make a change to your account.

If you have forgotten the original password for a departmental account, visit the ITS Help Desk for assistance. You will need your government-issued photo ID and permission from your account sponsor to change the password. (If you don't know who the sponsor is, the ITS Help Desk can tell you.)

Your sponsor can provide permission in the following ways:

  • Your sponsor can sign a letter requesting the change, and you can bring that letter to the ITS Help Desk (FAC 200).

  • Your sponsor can come in person to the ITS Help Desk (FAC 200). Once identity has been established, the sponsor can request the changes.

  • Your sponsor can phone the ITS Help Desk at (512) 475-9400. After identity has been established, the ITS Help Desk can make the requested changes over the phone.
