ID Center

Beginning August 12, 2010 the ID Center has changed its business rules, making more members of the university community eligible for ID cards. For more information, please see Changes to ID Center Business Rules.

Overview

The ID Center, located on the first floor of the Flawn Academic Center (FAC), provides photo ID cards and proximity card for students, faculty, staff, official visitors, and vendors as required. The ID Center also upgrades UT EIDs for eligible individuals.

Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Features

  • Issues university photo ID and proximity ID cards quickly and easily
  • Requires a government-issued photo ID as proof of identity (US or Canadian driver's license, temporary license, instruction permit, passport, alien registration card with photo, U.S. citizen ID card, or resident citizen card)
  • Provides upgrades of UT EIDs for eligible individuals

Cost

A $10 fee is charged for each photo ID card.
