ITS Help Desk Extends Hours of Service

Starting Monday, March 1, 2010, the Information Technology Services (ITS) Help Desk is extending its hours on weekdays and opening weekends to provide additional assistance to customers.

This change comes as a result of direct customer feedback and will increase the availability of Help Desk support to better fit the schedules of busy students, faculty, and staff.

The extended hours also ensure that students and faculty don’t have to wait until the morning or through the weekend to resolve questions or issues with ITS services such as Blackboard, Internet access, E-mail, and EIDs.

Now you can contact the Help Desk by phone (512-475-9400), e-mail, and on-line chat support during the following hours:

  • Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.

Walk-in and Drop-off services will continue to be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
