Take Your Photo with UT Celebs!

On Saturday, March 6, 2010, from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. the university hosts Explore UT, "The Biggest Open House in Texas." This special occasion offers more than 400 events and activities for children, their parents, teacher —the entire family. Over 400 K-12 school buses will bring students from across the state to share in the treasures of the university. This year, more than 50,000 visitors are expected on campus to enjoy a day of fun and discovery.
Information Technology Services (ITS) will be there offering a true favorite: Take Your Photo with UT Celebs. Guests who come to our area on the main mall next to Battle Hall can have digital photos taken with special UT Austin personalities, such as Bevo, the Spirit Team, or the Texas Cowboys with “Smokey the Cannon.” Staff will then help our guests publish their photos on their own Web site using one of four ITS-designed templates.
Explore UT is free and open to the public. The event takes place rain or shine. A list of activities, programs and lectures can be found online.
