Purchasing individual "shrink-wrapped" Mac OS licenses
Students, faculty, staff, and departments (purchasing for university-owned machines) can buy Mac OS upgrade licenses through the Campus Computer Store. Please refer to this site for pricing and purchasing information. You will receive an one-time upgrade license for the current release of the Macintosh Operating System, one (1) copy of the installation media and documentation.
Volume licensing is available to UT Austin departments.
