UMBS E-mail
Overview
New accounts are no longer available on the University Mailbox Service (UMBS).
UMBS provides current UT Austin faculty and staff with a university affiliated e-mail address. Use Webmail to check your e-mail from any Web browser. Your UMBS e-mail account remains active for as long as you are affiliated with the university. When you leave the university, your e-mail account remains active for an additional six months. Retirees may keep their e-mail accounts after retiring from the university.

Cost
The UMBS e-mail service is available at no cost to current UT Austin faculty and staff.
