Graduate Dean's Prestigious Fellowship Supplement

The Graduate Dean's Prestigious Fellowship Supplement awards are for students who will hold competitive, external, prestigious, full (typically $12,000 or more) fellowships that recognize the student's academic achievements. Consideration for an award is based upon nomination by the graduate adviser.

Eligibility

Receiving a prestigious, external fellowship.

Stipend

The award is $1,000 and entitles the student to pay tuition at in-state rates during the coming academic year: fall, spring, and summer.

Nomination Process

Nominations for Graduate Dean's Prestigious Fellowship Supplements should be submitted by the graduate adviser using the online Graduate School Awards System that can be accessed at the following link:

The graduate adviser or graduate coordinator can initiate the nomination process with the student's UT EID. You will be asked to answer a few short questions and upload two documents - a letter supporting the nomination and a copy of the award letter to the student.
